<p>The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse- DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service.</p> <p>Degrees:</p> <ul> <li>Associates. </li></ul> <p>Licenses & Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support. </li><li>ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate. </li><li>Neonatal Resuscitation Program. </li><li>Basic Life Support. </li><li>Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. </li><li>Registered Nurse. </li></ul> <p>Additional Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing. </li><li>RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN. </li><li>RNs hired after 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) with an Associate's degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree. </li><li>New Grad DPC RN remains in this job description until deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice. </li><li>As per department standard any of the following may be required (ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS- Basic Life Support, PALS- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ONS- Chemotherapy/ Biotherapy Provider Card). </li></ul> <p>Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 year</p>
