<p>Overview</p> <p>As the Manager of Operations Inventory Optimization, you will play a critical role in supporting and executing inventory optimization and management initiatives across all stores. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations Inventory Optimization, you will maximize revenue and profit growth through consistency in in-stock levels, in-store replenishment, and receiving processes.</p> <p>In this role, you will collaborate closely with store teams, field leadership, and cross-functional partners at the support office to help drive improvements in inventory accuracy, stock flow, and operational efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to reducing stock loss, enhancing store execution, and improving overall sales and profitability.</p> <p>We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and can effectively balance multiple priorities. You should be passionate about retail operations and have a strong foundation in inventory management and process improvement.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Support the execution of company-wide inventory optimization strategies and initiatives. </li><li>Monitor store-level in-stock performance, identify trends and opportunities, and escalate concerns to the Director. </li><li>Assist with the development and improvement of replenishment and receiving processes. </li><li>Partner with field teams and store operations to support effective implementation of inventory-related processes and tools. </li><li>Analyze data and generate insights to improve inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss. </li><li>Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on operational efficiency and inventory optimization. </li><li>Provide regular reporting and updates to the Director on key inventory KPIs and progress against goals. </li><li>Support change management efforts and training related to inventory practices. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, or similar field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience in retail operations, inventory management, supply chain, or a related field with multi-store or corporate-level responsibilities preferred. </li><li>Excellent working knowledge of department processes and merchandising in a grocery retail </li><li>Proven track record of implementing large-scale inventory </li></ul> <p>Skills and Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations. </li><li>Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., Workday, ThinStore, IMS, PI/CAO, Production Planning) and job support software such as MS Office. </li><li>Excellent communication, leadership and collaboration skills; ability to work across all levels of the organization. </li><li>Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment. </li><li>Experience with retail systems, inventory software, and reporting tools is a plus. </li><li>Ability to work with and influencecross-functionalteams </li><li>Strong project management and presentation skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>In addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
