Audits accounting and financial documents for accuracy and completeness.</p> </li><li> <p>Reconciliations - Prepares and analyzes reconciliations for TDEM general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and state bank accounts.</p> </li><li> <p>Data Entry - Records journal entries into FAMIS and USAS.</p> </li></ul> <p>What you need to know</p> <p>Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire's experience.</p> <p>Special Instructions: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended. You may upload these in the CV/Resume section.</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Accounting experience in a business office.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in higher education.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Licenses and Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Professional license or certification in accounting. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent oral and written communication; customer service and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to comprehend and apply rules and regulations in a complex environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Working knowledge of database programs.
