<p>About the Position</p> <p>Dexis is seeking a Project Manager for an opportunity within the U.S. Coast Guard Directorate of International Affairs and Foreign Policy Advisor (DCO-I). The purpose of this effort is provide administrative, technical, and financial support for the USCG DCO-I, Executive Staff Division, Office of Regional Affairs, Passports and Support Division and the Office of Security Cooperation. The Project Manager will be responsible for all work performed under this contract.</p> <p>DCO-I is responsible for advising, informing, and assisting the Commandant on strategies, foreign policy matters, and the general impact of USCG programs and operations on U.S. International Affairs. DCO-I coordinates all aspects of USCG International Affairs activities including the managing and executing of the USCG passport and visa issuance program, negotiating agreements, participating in international organizations, training foreign personnel through the United States Government Security Cooperation Training and Education Program, arranging visits by foreign officials, providing technical assistance to foreign governments, and monitoring of USCG personnel foreign travel.</p> <p>This part-time position is located in the Washington, D.C. area and is required to be on-site, subject to change if requirements shift. This position is contingent upon contract award.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact between the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Dexis home office regarding all contract management matters. </li><li>Provide overall management on-site for the task order, including interfacing with the COR, supervision of assigned contract staff, and management of all contract deliverables. </li><li>Ensure the successful and timely performance of all contract tasks in accordance with government requirements and standards. </li><li>Consults with the COR concerning the performance of each contract task, work progress, scheduling, costs, personnel assignments, recruitment, work priorities, and work performance. </li><li>Direct and coordinate employees only on his/her respective order(s). </li><li>Recruit suitable personnel, arrange appropriate training, and ensure the satisfaction of security and administrative requirements in a timely manner. </li><li>Design, direct, and ensure successful operation of a formal quality control and review program to maintain the accurate performance of all activities of the contract. </li><li>Analyze work procedures and coordinate the timely review, updating, and modification of all procedure manuals. </li><li>Monitor SOW/PWS and makes recommendations for improvements to the COR. </li><li>Collect, compile, analyze, and present all required reports to the COR. </li><li>Provide oral and written status reports to the COR. </li><li>Escort assigned employees as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing multi-discipline teams in support of Government contracts. </li><li>Bachelor's degree and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Excellent presentation skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience managing U.S. Coast Guard projects. </li><li>Experience providing Security Cooperation and Security Assistance program management support. </li><li>Experience managing international student training programs. </li></ul>
