Delivers solutions within defined budgets and aggressive timelines while following project standards and best practices. Works closely with the Software/Electrical engineering team to integrate control solutions.</p> <p>Ideal Candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Reside in or near Dekalb County, IL </li><li>Authorized to Work in the U.S. without Employer Sponorship </li><li>Have some Material Handling Industry experience </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs in-house QA testing of software modules and integrated systems, including developing test cases and test scripts and testing products </li><li>Manages bug repair and regression testing </li><li>Promotes products from development to QA to production </li><li>Performs software implementation </li><li>Tests software on client sites </li><li>Performs functional testing to verify that all requirements are met </li><li>Performs customer acceptance testing and trains customer staff </li><li>Travels up to 75% </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience </li><li>Experience in the Material Handling Industry/Distribution Centers and warehouse automation a plus </li><li>Experience with ASP.net, AJAX, Java Script, JQuery and HTML5 a plus </li><li>Experience with developing inter-process communication (TCP/IP socket of WCF) a plus </li><li>Experience with Mobile Software Development a plus </li><li>Experience with WPF and XAML Technologies a plus </li><li>Knowledge of real-time control software architectures embedded RTOS application design using threads and inter-process communication, structured code, abstraction, device drivers, etc. </li><li>Familiar with Team Foundation Server version control system </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Self-motivated and detail-oriented </li><li>Creative thinking and problem-solving skills </li><li>Strong team orientation </li><li>Ability to learn new technology </li></ul> <p>EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/Veterans</p> <p>Federal Contractor</p> <p>Job Posting Min Salary</p> <p>Job Posting Max Salary</p>
