We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will:</p> <p>Support Quality processes in receiving, receiving inspection, assembly, test and shipping areasAttend Integrated Product Team meetings to present on Quality priorities, nonconformances, focus areas, and key issuesDisposition nonconformances in parts, paperwork, drawings, etc.Conduct Material Review Board (MRB) submissions on noncompliant material as neededPartner with Manufacturing Engineering and others to report out on defects and identify root cause and corrective actionsConduct and report out on periodic quality audits to ensure compliance to process and procedureParticipate in periodic reviews to report out quality performance and other key metricsAnalyze production results/inspection data and present findings to the teamSupport the improvement of processes throughout the facilityMeet with Factory Managers, Planners, Supplier Quality Engineers, Project Managers, and others to find solutions to day-to-day problems and develop formal corrective action requests when requiredProduce/revise inspection instructions/procedures, inspect product when requiredOther duties as assigned</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p><em>Qualifications</em> <em>Basic Qualifications:</em></p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or GED - college education preferred with a degree in supply chain or a related field</p> </li><li> <p>3-5 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to obtain a security clearance. <em>Preferred Skills & Experience:</em></p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systemsExperience with Oracle preferredAuditing per AS9100Lean or six sigma green belt preferredExperience reading and interpreting design drawingsExperience using basic inspection tools and equipmentFirst article inspection experienceStrong computer skills with Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skills</p> <p>Team player</p> <p><em>How We Care</em></p> <p>At Textron Systems, our talented people make us successful.
