As a technical lead, you will tackle complex multi-disciplinary issues and establish best practices for electrical engineering development within a regulated medical device environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and resolve complex multidisciplinary issues using good practices and thorough documentation. </li><li>Develop, document, and maintain detailed processes and best practices for medical electronics development. </li><li>Design, document, and execute electronic tests to ensure optimal performance. </li><li>Conduct circuit analysis, focusing on mixed signal, digital, and analog circuits, with strong fundamentals. </li><li>Troubleshoot electrical systems, including PCB testing, to enhance device reliability and safety. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive design iterations and improvements. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in electrical engineering, including troubleshooting, PCB, analog, digital, and test engineering. </li><li>Experience with hardware, circuit analysis, and the use of Altium for electronic design. </li><li>Working knowledge of medical standards such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2. </li><li>Ability to lead and resolve complex issues while documenting processes meticulously. </li><li>Experience in developing Class II & III medical devices within a regulatory environment. </li><li>Strong electronics fundamentals for analog, digital, and electromechanical design. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required, MS or PhD preferred. </li><li>Minimum of 15 years of experience in R&D or product development. </li><li>Demonstrated experience with electronic design for motor control and mixed-signal applications. </li><li>Highly proficient in the use of electrical CAD tools, with Altium preferred. </li><li>Possess working knowledge of EMC and electrical safety. </li><li>Proficiency in analytical tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and Spice. </li><li>Strong presentation and technical collaboration skills, including project management abilities. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Work in a cutting-edge technology company that is focused on revolutionizing surgery with neurosurgical robotics.
