<p>Nature of Work</p> <p>Special Hiring Rate: $34,070</p> <p>Under general supervision this position will assist upper management with the daily operations of a jail and special management prison. These daily functions will include the analyzing and auditing of invoices, bills, orders, forms, reports and documents for accuracy and correction of errors; maintaining, processing, and sorting of files; researching data and information gathering for reports; typing of various documents; prepares personnel information; plans, organizes, assigns, and checks work of lower level clerical staff; trains new employees in proper work methods and procedures; answers telephone, screen calls, takes messages and complaints and communicates with the caller the established procedures; receives, sorts, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail; operates office equipment; run and analyze reports from databases.</p> <p>Perform other related duties as assigned.</p> <ul> <li> <p>In accordance with SPB 3088 effective 10/7/23, $5000 will be added to the minimum starting rate of pay for all classifications within a Critical Vacancy Pay Supplemental Facility.
