<p>Position: 7th/8th Grade Girls Volleyball Head Coach</p> <p>Reports to: Athletic Director & Varsity Volleyball Head Coach</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The 7/8 Grade Volleyball Coach teaches foundational volleyball skills, teamwork, and Christian sportsmanship.</p> <p>The coach focuses on youth development and character-building.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Volleyball playing or coaching experience preferred </li><li>Strong communication and encouragement skills </li><li>Agreement with TPCS Athletic Purpose Statement, which reads: Traders Point Christian Schools is committed to developing and maintaining an athletic program that is Christ-centered, comprehensive, and competitive, and allows each athlete a unique venue to be a witness for Christ by using his or her God-given talent to move and play. </li><li>Great recruiter/retention skills for your program </li><li>Must pass a background check </li><li>Must provide proof or be willing to take CPR training </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Teach proper fundamentals of volleyball </li><li>Foster sportsmanship and Christian character </li><li>Will to run successful summer camps </li><li>Maintaining communication with administration, parents, and varsity staff is essential </li><li>Supervise athletes at all times, until the last one leaves any organized event that the team is a part of </li><li>Ensure safe and secure use of equipment and facilities </li><li>Support program alignment with HS coaches </li><li>Follow inventory check-in & check-out policies with uniforms </li><li>Plan team banquet and awards </li><li>Reports all game results to staff before 8 am the next day of the contest finish </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>This position is:</p> <ul> <li>1099 contractor </li><li>Paid by stipend </li><li>For the Fall 2026 athletic season </li></ul>
