Our work gives trading and investment professionals deep insight into where crucial industries stand today and where they may be heading.</p> <p>As a data & model governance specialist, you should have experience in model creation in Excel and Python along with a strong sense of documenting best practices for model creation, management and partnering with Compliance teams. You will manage and coordinate the approval, publication and periodic review of BI models that are created or converted to product solutions. While you will need to understand the context of the models, this role does not require industry, company or market subject matter expertise. As part of the BI Data & Analysis team, you will be a key part of our growth and innovation, helping define guidelines, evaluating new requirements, and assessing return on investment of tools and processes.</p> <p>WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain model best practices and documentation standards working closely with Compliance, Data and Risk teams. Establish requirements for version control, naming conventions, input/output structures, and error handling. </li><li>Develop and maintain an inventory of approved and published Models. Ensure models are retired if they are no longer active or no longer meet the desired use case. </li><li>Provide feedback and training to team members on modeling standards, documentation expectations, and common issues to improve model quality across the team. </li><li>Review and validate Excel and Python-based analytical models to ensure they adhere to internal standards and industry best practices prior to publication. Verify each model is accompanied by clear, consistent, and comprehensive documentation. Collaborate with model developers and domain experts to ensure technical soundness and business relevance of the models. </li><li>Perform periodic quality control review meetings on existing models to identify errors, inconsistencies, or deviations from established methodologies. </li><li>Track and report on model compliance metrics and maintain a centralized repository of model reviews and outcomes. </li></ul> <p>YOU NEED TO HAVE:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of strong project management and data management experience </li><li>Proficiency with model creation and management </li><li>Proficiency with Bloomberg, Excel, Python </li><li>Interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to handle deadline pressure, work in an intense real-time environment </li><li>Entrepreneurial attitude, an innovator who can help BI develop new products </li><li>Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident/green card holder, refugee, asylee) </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
