The ideal candidate will perform detailed drawing creation, basic mechanical design and analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing and integration efforts.</p> <p>Ready to join an innovative and dynamic team?</p> <p>Come on board the Gogo Mechanical Engineering team!</p> <p>How will you make a difference?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Create and update detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks</p> </li><li> <p>Support mechanical design efforts under the direction of senior engineers, including part selection, material specification, and integration with electrical components</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in performing basic mechanical analysis (e.g., stress, thermal, tolerance stack-ups)</p> </li><li> <p>Write and maintain test plans and procedures under the guidance of senior engineers</p> </li><li> <p>Aid and participate in internal and external testing activities, including setup, data collection, and troubleshooting</p> </li><li> <p>Compile and format test data into reports for review by peers and management</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Manufacturing, Electrical, Quality, and Test teams to ensure product requirements are met</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate continuous improvement and sustainment efforts for legacy products</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure work complies with internal standards and, where applicable, FAA regulatory requirements</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years of relevant mechanical design experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills, Talents & Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proficiency in SolidWorks (or equivalent CAD software)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong technical writing and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently with mentorship, and within a collaborative team environment</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to support hands-on testing and occasional travel for external test events</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with electromechanical systems integration</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to mechanical testing and data analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with FAA regulations certification processes per RTCA, DO-160 a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or medical device industry) a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) a plus</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Pay Disclosure(s)</p> <p>Base Pay:</p> <p>72,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD Annual</p> <p>Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:</p> <p>Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)</p> <p>Eligible for Incentive Stock Program:</p> <p>Yes</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Gogo offers competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage with plans that can fit each employee's needs.
