<p>Job Summary: Assists Director in the operation and management of the Department of Pharmacy.</p> <p>Responsibilities: Interprets and transcribes, when necessary, all medication orders from the physicians order sheet and medication profile.</p> <p>Maintains adequate skills in the use of the Pharmacy computer software, hospital computer software, as well as the electronic medication distribution system.</p> <p>Performs the documentation of medication compliance for inpatient or outpatient services</p> <p>Verifies and checks all entries on the medication profile for accuracy and completeness.</p> <p>Monitors patients medication profiles for appropriateness of drug therapy, dosing and dose forms, drug interactions and contraindications for use.</p> <p>Performs other duties consistent with the job classification, as required</p> <p>Schedule: 40/80 Full Time Days - Every Other Weekend</p> <p>Requirements: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy Training and Experience: Registered or eligible for registration in the State of Rhode Island Special Qualifications: Board Certification in Psychopharmacology is encouraged.You are being hired to replace a striking employee. For the purposes of the National Labor Relations Act only, you are classified as a permanent replacement for that employee. That means that we intend to employ you as a regular employee.
