<p>Title: Student Worker - Adult Education</p> <p>Salary Range: $14.00 per hour</p> <p>Contract Term Length: Not Applicable</p> <p>Standard Hours: 20</p> <p>Work Location: On-Site</p> <p>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt</p> <p>College: Southcentral KY Community & Technical College</p> <p>Campus Location: Southcentral Kentucky CTC - Main Campus</p> <p>Department: Adult Education</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>General office and customer service duties in support of the SKYCTC Adult Education program.</p> <p>This position is on the Main Campus, located at 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101.</p> <p>The job pays $14.00 an hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week.</p> <p>Subject to employment expectations, such as dependability, punctuality, and confidentiality.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Assists by welcoming students and community guest into the building. </li><li>Assists with student orientation, testing, and scheduling for classes. </li><li>Maintains college-wide documents, including syllabi templates and Blackboard organization sites. </li><li>Customer service, answer phones, filing, copying. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Declare a program of study.</p> <p>Be enrolled in at least 6 hours for the fall and spring semesters.</p> <p>Maintain a 2.0 GPA</p> <p>Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and Maximum Time Frame</p> <p>(MTF) requirements each semester</p> <p>Have a completed FAFSA on file.</p> <p>The Department of Education requires ample room in the student's financial aid budget to allow for a work study award.</p> <p>Kentucky State Law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Additional Skills Requested:</p> <p>Employee Rights - Employee Polygraph Protection Act</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer - The Kentucky Community and Technical College System is an equal educational and employment opportunity institution.</p>
