<p>Tank Cleaners/Laborers - 2nd Shift</p> <p>Anchor Sandblasting and Coatings is looking to hire full-time Tank Cleaner Laborers. These positions pay $16 - $18 an hour depending on experience plus mandatory overtime (Saturdays and Sundays). If you are a hard worker, are not afraid of heights, and have no issues working in confined spaces, then this might be the right opportunity for you!</p> <p>As a Laborer, you will complete various assignments from the foreman related to the marine blast and painting operations.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Adhere to company policies and procedures.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain effective communication with the blast/paint foreman regarding production or safety issues that may arise while on the job. </li><li>Set up and break down worksite for pressure washing, vacuum, cleaning, and scaffolding operations. </li><li>General worksite housekeeping, dock cleaning. </li><li>Operate boom lift and dingo. </li><li>Night shift required. </li><li>Pressure wash using 5000psi fan tips or turbo tips. </li><li>Tank cleaning, shoveling. </li><li>Completes miscellaneous assignments and projects as directed. </li></ul> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Possess the physical abilities necessary to perform all aspects of his or her job including but not limited to; general lifting and carrying equipment and tools, bending and climbing. </li><li>Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time. </li><li>Work in various types of weather conditions. </li><li>Being bilingual is a plus. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to climb inside tanks, work from hanging staging, work in small spaces. </li><li>Ability to lift and handle 85# staging boards for extended periods of time. </li><li>Operate boom lift and dingo. </li><li>Ability to wear a respirator. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Shipyard experience is a plus. </li></ul> <p>WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</p>
