<p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate basic knowledge and proper use of hand tools </li><li>Operate equipment to provide utilities for production areas (compressed air and steam). Operate equipment for removal of oil, grease and solids from plant wastewater to meet release permit levels. Able to make adjustments to equipment to keep wastewater effluent within release specifications. </li><li>Able to perform maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to keep air compressor, boiler and waste water equipment operational, such as lubrication, oil and/or coolant changes, filter changes, belt replacement, pH measurement probe replacement and calibration. </li><li>Able to perform weekly and monthly plant wide fire system functional tests to comply with FM Global requirements. </li><li>Perform plant building maintenance as required, lighting replacement, plumbing repairs, other minor repairs, etc. </li><li>Follow all safety procedures and actively participate in safety training and safety system ownership initiatives </li><li>Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person; reports any injury, accident, or unsafe condition to supervisor immediately </li><li>Support and comply with GMP's; understand and follow emergency action plan </li><li>Support food safety, quality, and legality </li><li>Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Technical certification preferred </li><li>3+ years of manufacturing facility maintenance experience </li><li>Basic technical skills include Mechanical, Troubleshooting, Pneumatics, Fluid Power, Hand Tools </li><li>Strong problem solving and analysis skills </li><li>Self-directed team player with ability to communicate effectively and complete projects in a timely manner </li><li>Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule as needed </li><li>Strong safety awareness </li><li>Positive attitude with ability to follow rules and directions </li></ul>
