You will be part of a culture that values trust, accountability, and shared success where your work truly matters.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Your Career Our Cortex and Cloud GTM organization sits at the heart of Palo Alto Networks, supporting all functions within the organization and tackles cross-functional strategic initiatives across Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and People teams. We are a "Special Forces" Strategy and GTM team that will tackle the most mission-critical and challenging initiatives across Palo Alto Networks to drive and support our industry-leading growth. We work on projects that move the needle, have major C-level "pull" and impact the company's overall trajectory. Your work as a Cortex and Cloud GTM Intern will directly and visibly contribute to our overall strategy and success. You will be tasked with developing solutions for complex business problems that are top-of-mind for our executives. We expect you to work collaboratively to gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, independently lead problem-solving, develop and package recommendations for presentation to management, support execution and manage a broad set of x-functional stakeholders. At every turn, our team will strive to uncover value and opportunities for the Business. Your Impact Work directly with a GTM Sr. Director / Principal / Lead to drive high-value workstreams as part of broader strategic initiatives to break down complex problems, develop and test hypothesis and drive x-functional alignment to deliver recommendations Lead thoughtful, creative and rigorous analysis (e.g., market sizing, competitive assessments, business models) to synthesize insights Develop and present high-quality recommendation and deliverables for executive level consumption and actively contribute to associated strategy and execution discussions Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, prove / disprove your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution and ultimately unlock value Support strategy / business planning processes and assist with developing strategic capabilities across the organization Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management and execution) to do it what it takes to "move the needle" A bit of the tactic of the job Structure and break down complex business problems, develop a hypothesis, drive analysis and deliver recommendations Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, pressure test your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution and unlock value Develop and present high-quality recommendation and deliverables for executive level consumption Support strategy / business planning processes and assist with developing strategic capabilities across the organization Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management and execution) to do it what it takes to "move the needle"</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Your Experience 2+ years of relevant work experience with at least 2 years in management consulting, or internal strategy or "bizops" within a corporation Interest in learning about enterprise tech strategy Robust analytical skillset mixed with endless curiosity and open-mindedness Effective verbal & written presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to Executive-level audiences Collaborative team player willing to go beyond strategy in order to support execution and realization Independent thinker and Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision; a proven record of leadership in a work setting Additional relevant experience with large transformations is a plus</p> <p>Compensation Disclosure</p> <p>The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
