<p>LINCOLN-SUDBURY REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 390 LINCOLN ROAD SUDBURY, MASSACHUSETTS 01776</p> <p>EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY 2025-2026 School Year</p> <p>JOB POSTING</p> <p>Title: Special Education Teacher for Students with Moderate Disabilities 1.0 FTE</p> <p>Position Summary: Promotes learning and growth of all students providing high-quality instruction, authentic and meaningful student assessments, analyzing student data, using data to improve instruction, continuously providing students with constructive feedback, and continuously refining learning objectives.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Provide specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning disabilities </li><li>Chair, facilitate and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and any related documentation including Chapter 688 referrals and transition planning, etc. for students on their caseload </li><li>Complete formal and informal student assessments to determine eligibility for Special Education services </li><li>Work in collaboration with other service providers, outside providers, and general education teachers </li><li>Develop, provide, and implement academic and behavioral accommodations and modifications for students in general education classes. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree from an accredited college or university </li><li>Licensed in Moderate Disabilities 5-12 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered *English Immersion (SEI) endorsement </li><li>Experience evaluating, interpreting, and reporting assessments such as: WJ-IV and/or WIAT III or IV </li><li>Experience implementing academic and social/behavioral interventions </li><li>Experience implementing transition planning to college/career </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, general education teachers, and students </li><li>Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of service providers </li></ul> <p>Experience Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>3 + years educational teaching environment </li><li>Experience evaluating, interpreting, and reporting assessments such as: WJ-IV and/or WIAT II or IV </li><li>Experience implementing academic and social/behavioral interventions </li><li>Experience implementing transition planning to college/career </li></ul> <p>Teachers' CBA Salary Range SY25/26: $57,756 - $135,872</p> <p>LSRSD has an attractive benefits package including: health, employer sponsored Health Savings Account, dental, vision, long-term disability, life insurance, 403(b), Dependent Care Account, Flexible Spending Accounts and participation in retirement boards.</p> <p>Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital/civil union status, ancestry, place of birth, age, citizenship status, veteran status, political affiliation, genetic information or disability, as defined and required by state and federal laws.
