We ask fundamental questions about early development and stem cell biology with the ultimate goal of improving human health and driving scientific discovery. Check out our website for more information: https://www.colorado.edu/lab/brumbaugh/</p> <p>What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be</p> <p>Administrative Duties</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines </li><li>Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols </li><li>Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines </li><li>Oversee ordering of research items </li><li>Communicate with vendor representatives regarding orders </li></ul> <p>Wet Lab Duties</p> <ul> <li>Maintain common lab reagents, equipment, and consumables </li><li>Organize, breed, and genotype mouse colonies </li><li>Unpack and distribute orders upon arrival </li><li>Design and execute experiments in support of ongoing projects in the lab </li></ul> <p>What We Can Offer</p> <p>The hiring range for this position is $38,000 - $50,000 annually.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>At the University of Colorado Boulder, we are committed to supporting the holistic health and well-being of our employees. Be Boulder.</p> <p>What We Require</p> <ul> <li>B.S., B.A., or equivalent degree in molecular biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, or a related field. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Need</p> <ul> <li>A working knowledge of basic software (word, excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>A strong interest in developmental and molecular biology. </li><li>The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>What We Would Like You to Have</p> <ul> <li>Lab experience, particularly in the areas of molecular biology, developmental biology, and animal husbandry (mouse work) is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Special Instructions</p> <p>To apply, please submit the following materials:</p> <ul> <li>Resume/CV </li><li>Cover Letter </li></ul> <p>If you are selected as the finalist, your degree will be verified by the CU Boulder Campus Human Resources department using an approved online vendor.
