This position is located onsite in Florence, KY and reports to the EH&S Specialist.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in conducting safety inspections and risk assessments. </li><li>Collaborate with the EH&S team to develop and update safety procedures and guidelines. </li><li>Support the planning and execution of safety training sessions for staff and students. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations. </li><li>Participate in safety audits and Job Safety Analyses. </li><li>Assist other departments with document filing, scanning, auditing, etc. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current college student preferred. High School Diploma/GED is required. </li><li>Entry level position. Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required. </li><li>Good verbal/written communications skills. </li><li>Working knowledge of OSHA regulations (Process Safety Management). </li><li>Willing to work with hazardous and/or flammable chemicals with PPE. </li><li>Willing and able to work independently and in a team atmosphere. </li><li>Detail oriented and problem-solving abilities. </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $24.00/hourDuration: Temporary.
