As part of the Middleby Corporation, we bring together engineering excellence and operational expertise to serve customers globally.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a Sustaining Engineer to support and improve the performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness of our existing product lines. This role bridges engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure continuous product improvement, resolve design-related issues, and maintain compliance with industry standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Own engineering support for legacy products, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and manufacturability. </li><li>Investigate and resolve product issues including design defects, supplier changes, and field returns. </li><li>Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives without compromising performance or quality. </li><li>Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to implement product updates and process improvements. </li><li>Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and ECNs. </li><li>Evaluate components and materials for potential obsolescence and implement suitable alternatives. </li><li>Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). </li><li>Ensure ongoing product compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. </li><li>3+ years of experience in sustaining, product support, or manufacturing engineering (preferably in industrial equipment or foodservice manufacturing). </li><li>Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), ERP systems, and engineering change processes. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mechanical aptitude. </li><li>Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. </li><li>Familiarity with UL, NSF, and other applicable foodservice equipment certifications is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us:</p> <p>At Star Holdings Group, we value innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
