For more information, visit https://ovationhc.com.</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Onboarding & Employee Experience Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in delivering a seamless and welcoming experience for all new hires, ensuring they feel prepared, supported, and excited to start their journey with us. You'll collaborate closely with HR, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams to streamline the onboarding process, handle documentation, and serve as the go-to person for all things related to new employee integration</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate all onboarding logistics, including new hire paperwork, orientation schedules, and welcome materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct engaging and informative new hire orientations, both virtual and in-person.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed, including background checks and employment eligibility verification.</p> </li><li> <p>Partners with IT, Facilities, and hiring managers to ensure all tools and access are ready for day one.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, providing support and guidance through their onboarding journey.</p> </li><li> <p>Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding experience based on feedback and evolving company needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with internal policies and employment laws.</p> </li><li> <p>Support employer branding and employee engagement initiatives during the onboarding process.</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with MS Office suite or related software.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Experience, Education and Certifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>At least two years related experience required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>This is a hybrid role based in Brentwood, TN requiring four (4) days per week in office minimum.</p> </li><li> <p>Primarily office-based with a typical business setting. This role may involve collaboration in virtual settings and participation in team meetings. Occasional off-site visits to other company locations may be required.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.</p> </li><li> <p>Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of up to 15 pounds.</p> </li></ul>
