USM serves about 1,400 students at its main campus in Leavenworth, its satellite location in Overland Park, as well as online.</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>Serve as an assistant to the Athletic Training Department by providing support and assistance in all daily tasks, front desk support, medical records/filing, maintaining athletic training room, projects and events.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Provide assistance and clerical support in the athletic training office including managing calendars, answering phones, responding to messages, and assisting walk-ins. </li><li>Assisting with the collection, review and filing of medical records. </li><li>Athletic training room duties will include but are not limited to </li><li>Maintain cleanliness & maintenance of the McGilley, Ryan, and Berkel Stadium athletic training rooms. </li><li>Towel laundering for both McGilley and Ryan athletic training rooms as needed. </li><li>Stocking and inventory of supplies in McGilley and Ryan athletic training rooms. </li><li>Medical paperwork filing. </li><li>Attend practice and/or games as needed to assist with First Aid and hydration. </li><li>Perform additional job related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>CPR/AED certified; or ability and willingness to achieve certification </li><li>First Aid / BBP certified; or ability and willingness to achieve certification </li><li>Affinity for the overall mission of the University of Saint Mary </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li><li>Ability to complete USM Approved Driver's Certification </li><li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Must be accepted into the University of Saint Mary graduate school, maintain satisfactory academic progress towards a master's degree. </li></ul> <p>TO APPLY:</p> <p>Submit a cover letter, resume and contact information for at least three current professional references.</p> <p>Saint Mary is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p> <p>Questions: email human resources at hr@stmary.edu</p>
