If you believe you are one of those talented people and are interested in joining our fast-growing building automation group, we encourage you to apply today.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Gathers tools and supplies to be used at the work site </li><li>Measures, cut, and bending of conduit (EMT and Rigid) </li><li>Pulls cable and wire from device locations to control panels </li><li>In-wall rough-in of thermostats </li><li>Drills holes for pathways </li><li>Traces out shorts in both low voltage power and signal cabling </li><li>Assists in lifting, positioning, and fastening control panels, cable racks, and devices </li><li>Maintains tools and equipment that are assigned </li><li>Keeps work areas clean of debris </li><li>Performs other routine duties </li><li>Display professional behavior and attitude </li><li>Other assigned duties by Journeyman or Project Manager </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Applicant must have reliable transportation </li><li>Position requires basic electrician hand tools </li><li>Ability to work with hands </li><li>Ability to assign priorities to tasks </li><li>Ability to lift 50lbs, unassisted, multiple times per day </li><li>Some building automation knowledge or experience is useful </li><li>Valid state motor vehicle operator license with clear driving record to meet company policy to drive a company vehicle </li><li>Must be willing to drive within 150 miles of Memphis, TN </li><li>Travel up to 40% of the time </li></ul> <p>Benefits Offered:</p> <ul> <li>Medical Insurance </li><li>Dental Insurance </li><li>Vision Insurance </li><li>401(k) retirement plan with company match </li><li>Paid Vacation </li></ul> <p>Schedule and Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>Normal schedule is Monday through Friday </li><li>Normal working hours is 7:00AM to 4:00PM </li><li>Occasional Schedule of 4/10's, Overtime, or Weekend work based on project </li></ul>
