All while understanding that together we are even better.</p> <p>Schedule: PRN</p> <p>Shift : Nights</p> <p>The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Heart of Florida</p> <ul> <li>AdventHealth Heart of Florida is a licensed 193-bed acute care hospital, coupled with outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab and wound care, that has been serving the community for over 50 years. </li><li>As a part of the AdventHealth network patients will have greater access to a wide range of innovative therapies, new research, leading-edge technology and an extensive team of medical specialists. </li><li>High-quality care that has been recognized by the Joint Commission, the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association. </li><li>Located in Davenport, FL., which is close to major destinations, like Busch Gardens, Legoland, and Walt Disney World, without being located in the central hub of tourism. </li></ul> <p>The role you'll contribute:</p> <p>Clinically trained minister responsible for providing spiritual care to our primary customers, partners, and team members. Participates as a member of the healthcare team in evaluating spiritual needs provides one to one, short-term spiritual support to patients, families and care team members in inpatient, outpatient, urgent-care, corporate and other specialized care settings. Also provides supportive brief spiritual counseling and community referrals, following a comprehensive spiritual wholeness assessment of concerns.</p> <p>Fosters a sense of mission that enhances a culture of Love, experience of Joy, and a sense of Peace within the hospital and the healthcare team. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.</p> <p>The PRN Chaplain is scheduled "as needed" and may be called into work on short notice as a need arises. Scheduled duty shifts may be cancelled with 12-hours' notice.</p> <p>The value you'll bring to the team:</p> <ul> <li>Engage the Consumer </li><li>Respond to inpatient referrals within 24 hours </li><li>Respond to outpatient referrals within 48 hours </li><li>Participate in evening and weekend chaplaincy care for inpatient and outpatient referrals </li><li>Improve People Systems </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:</p> <ul> <li>Completed or in progress: Master of Divinity degree, Master of Science in Spiritual Care or graduate level degree (72-hour minimum) in theology, religion or related field. </li><li>Minimum of one (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education completed, at a center accredited by ACPE, Inc. </li><li>In good standing with a recognized faith community </li></ul> <p>This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
