<p>Position: Tax Analyst - Compliance/Admin Support Clerk</p> <p>Location: Lake Mary, Florida</p> <p>Duration: Contract</p> <p>Job ID: 172554</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>This position is based in Lake Mary, Florida, with a hybrid working model requiring in-office presence weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The role involves ensuring compliance with internal controls and external legislation, with a direct impact on reported financial results. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Annual Compensation payouts for regulated and non-regulated companies, as well as ensuring compliance with IRS and state regulations prior to final Form W-2 distribution and submission to taxing authorities.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct tax validations for diverse compensation payouts, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Short-Term Incentive (STI) Payouts: Ensuring accurate withholding and reporting for performance-based annual bonuses.</p> </li><li> <p>Client Executive Life Insurance Premium (VELIP) Imputed Income: Validating the correct calculation and reporting of the imputed taxable income associated with executive life insurance premiums.</p> </li><li> <p>Corporate Profit Sharing (CPS) Distributions: Confirming the appropriate tax handling and reporting for non-qualified deferred compensation distributions based on corporate performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Cash Settled Stock Together Payouts (STP): Performing extensive validation for taxable income resulting from the vesting or disposition of company stock awards, ensuring compliance with complex equity compensation tax rules.</p> </li><li> <p>Support Form W-2 validations for both Test and Production cycles.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree (Mandatory). </li><li>Three or more years of relevant work experience with multi-state and local taxes. </li><li>Experience working with state and local jurisdictions for tax account updates. </li><li>Knowledgeable navigating 3rd party tax applications, such as ADP and CIC+. </li><li>Experience with HRMS and Payroll processing responsibilities and system applications, preferably PeopleSoft and/or Workday. </li><li>Intermediate Excel skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of end-to-end Payroll functional processes and their integration with Payroll Tax processes. </li><li>Strong customer service skills (both verbal and written). </li><li>Good organizational, time management, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously. </li><li>Willingness for flexible scheduling to meet processing demands. </li><li>Strong sense of urgency, proactive approach, and a solid focus on results. </li><li>CPP or FPC certification. </li></ul> <p>About PTR Global: PTR Global is a leading provider of information technology and workforce solutions.
