Reviews and processes documents and requests for information, maintains files, enters data and distributes mail.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Maintains and adds vendor profiles in accounting software as requested.</p> </li><li> <p>Reviewing and approving supplier set up in electronic payment request.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and approve vendor profiles in PaymentWorks software.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with tax services ensuring proper tax ID numbers, tax classifications and whithholding for all University vendor profiles.</p> </li><li> <p>Answers inquiries that may result in a search for records.</p> </li><li> <p>Works with accuracy and detail and maintains confidentiality with a high level of integrity.</p> </li><li> <p>Data entry and completing various types of correspondence.</p> </li><li> <p>Consistently provides excellent customer service.</p> </li><li> <p>May process payments and prepare receipts.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payments through accurate vendor set up and updates.</p> </li><li> <p>Adding and maintaining employee reimbursement profiles in Concur travel software.</p> </li></ol> <ul> <li>This job description is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees assigned to the job. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Must be a current University of Utah student.</p> <p>Preferences</p> <p>One year of general office experience, or equivalency; effective communication skills, and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required.</p> <p>A hiring department may require a minimum typing ability.</p> <p>Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.</p> <p>Special Instructions Summary Additional Information</p> <p>The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems ("URS").
