<p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform Transthoracic (TTE) Echocardiograms (with bubble study or imaging agent as indicated.) </li><li>Perform Exercise and Pharmacological Stress Echo </li><li>Assist in performance of Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiograms </li><li>Set up, adjust, and prepare patients for procedures and exams </li><li>Accurately identify cardiac structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations. </li><li>Analyze images and provide preliminary report to interpreting physicians. </li><li>Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. </li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record system. </li><li>Follow all hospital policies and procedures. </li><li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li><li>Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent certification. </li></ul> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Preferred: One (1) year experience in Cardiac Sonography. Experience performing stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms </li></ul> <p>License/Certification Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Certification in Cardiac Sonography (RDCS) through ARDMS or RCS through CCI (required) </li><li>BLS (Basic Life Support) certification </li></ul>
