<p>Job Title: Esports Team Manager Work Study</p> <p>Location: Marshalltown Community College, Marshalltown, IA 50158</p> <p>Department: Esports</p> <p>Reports to: Esports Program Management Faculty</p> <p>Semester: Fall 2025</p> <p>Number of Openings: 3</p> <p>Rate of Pay: $10.00 per hour</p> <p>Summary: The MCC Esports Team Manager provides administrative support to the Marshalltown Community College Esports program. Responsibilities include, but not limited to responding to and fulfilling administrative requests made by the coaching staff, managing email communications between the esports program and third parties, moderating the MCC Esports Twitch channel, and supervising and managing communications for Division 3 competition. The job candidate will strive to help the student-athletes and coaching staff of the MCC Esports program succeed by handling important behind-the-scenes tasks befitting a team manager.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Complete secretarial and administrative tasks assigned by the MCC coaching staff promptly. </li><li>Supervise Division 3 NJCAAE matches for titles that compete in them, including match chat operation using league tournament platforms (such as LeagueOS) </li><li>Attend IAHSEA Finals events as needed </li><li>Engage in written communications with other coaches, students, and other parties via league tournament platforms (like LeagueOS), Discord, email, etc. </li><li>Assist with personnel management of MCC Esports student-athletes competing in Division 3 NJCAAE matches. </li></ul> <p>Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to represent MCC as a professional in both communications and behavior </li><li>Ability to navigate software such as LeagueOS, Discord, Word, Excel, or equivalents </li><li>Ability to compose professional written responses to emails and messages </li><li>Ability to problem solve and respond to situations in a timely fashion </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Iowa Valley Community College District does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment.
