<p>About the Job</p> <p>This role has direct responsibility for all daily receiving and returns functions, ensuring all inbound shipments are received per the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). This will include overseeing the efficient handling of incoming goods and processed returns, ensuring that all procedures are followed and documented accurately and by the receiving and returns distribution associates.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Note: These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties.</p> <ul> <li>Completes incoming inspection, confirmation of certificate of authorization and reconciliation of receiving documentation. </li><li>Utilizes radio frequency (RF) system and operates fork-lift to unload trucks receive shipments, and put-away inventory. </li><li>Coordinates with Supply Chain on Distribution capacity constraints, workload to ensure all scheduled trucks are able to be received within 16 hours. </li><li>Coordinates with Quality to ensure appropriate staff is available for inspection and release of product. </li><li>Completes daily receiving entries in WMS and distributes paperwork to Supply Chain & Quality for filing and reconciliation. </li><li>Manages raw material and critical supply inventories, including maintenance and cleaning of inventory area, inventory organization and racking, inventory cycle counting and reporting, monthly inventory accounting. Actual physical counts of raw material and tag controls required. </li><li>Performs general housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas; includes hands-on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other department and outside waste disposal vendor. </li><li>Assist Distribution in achieving a high level of productivity, promoting good business practices, and training peers on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current good manufacturing practices (CGMPs) </li><li>Follows Glenmark Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures </li><li>Assist in other Distribution functional areas as necessary </li><li>Assists in implementing and incorporating stated 5S and OPEX initiatives as needed. </li><li>Assist in generation of incident reports and documents process deviations </li><li>Manage returns operations ensuring the returns process adheres to company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements </li><li>Work with Demand Planning and Quality Assurance to provide information on all inbound issues ensuring seamless operations </li><li>Work with Drayage vendor, alerting Distribution Management and Demand Planning of inbound issues </li><li>Direct, train, and delegate tasks to Distribution Associates involved in receiving and returns </li><li>Identify areas for improvement in receiving and returns processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy </li><li>Performs additional duties in absence of Group Lead </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma required </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>3-5 Years of progressive Receiving and Returns / Distribution Operations experience </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Technical capacity with Excel and Outlook </li><li>WMS (Manhattan) experience preferred </li><li>Pharmaceutical Regulatory statues, GMP compliance </li><li>Previous Distribution, and Forklift training </li><li>Experience with RF technology </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Organizational Skills </li><li>Time Management </li><li>Experience in the Pharmaceutical and or Medical Device Industry preferred. </li><li>Ability to work OT and weekends when needed </li><li>Ability to communicate with external suppliers via phone, email </li><li>MHE Material Handling Equipment certification </li><li>Working with Carrier Vendors, MHE Vendors </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>The incumbent typically works in a warehouse environment. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of a warehouse or distribution center. </li><li>Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. </li><li>The incumbent is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 40 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <p>Salary Range - $45,000 60,000 USD</p> <p>The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits.
