The District serves the mountain communities of Bailey, Pine Junction, Shawnee, and Grant.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Experience with Teaching Strategies GOLD.</p> <p>Must be Lead Teacher Qualified. Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.</p> <p>Minimum one year experience working with appropriate age group.</p> <p>Ability to work within an estaglished disciplinary program.</p> <p>Working knowledge of the Colorado Shines system and be registered on PDIS.</p> <p>Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to obtain one.</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff and administration.</p> <p>" Clear" background check through submission of fingerprint card to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation,and Background Information Services.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Assess student needs, progress and achievement; diagnose and remedy weaknesses.</p> <p>Instruction and supervision of preschool age students.</p> <p>Must be willing to work with 3-5 year old children in the preschool environment.
