<p>Production Associate II</p> <p>Altoona / Hedgemat</p> <p>7am-5pm, Mon-Thurs</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Specific to Position:</p> <ul> <li>Perform department operation procedures that may include assembly, filling and packaging products </li><li>Assist on Rosenthal Roll Machine </li><li>Assist with start-up and shut-down procedures </li><li>Assist in loading and unloading LaRoche machines and shuttle trailers </li><li>Assist with LaRoche's/ spill tech feeder </li><li>Assist with Spill tech sprayer system </li><li>Adhere to and meet quality standards, as well as adjust the process to meet quality standards if necessary </li><li>Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed </li><li>Enter production quantities and material usage into computer-based system </li><li>Perform all other production-related duties as assigned or directed </li><li>Actively participate on the process improvement team </li></ul> <p>General:</p> <ul> <li>Exemplify New Pig's core values </li><li>Support and follow company policies and procedures </li><li>Help create a positive work environment </li><li>Respond promptly to all communications </li><li>All others duties as assigned </li><li>Adhere to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Ability to perform math functions </li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally </li><li>Capable of producing all products to standard rate </li><li>Capable of retrieving and applying all quality information </li><li>Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness </li><li>Must demonstrate a commitment to all tasks assigned </li><li>Willing to share input to improve manufacturing processes </li><li>Familiarity with basic computer use </li><li>Ability to work overtime when necessary </li><li>Manufacturing experience preferred </li></ul>
