<p>The Workforce Development Support Specialist will provide comprehensive support to the Workforce Development (WFD) Branch within the Human Resources (HR) Office at NSWC Panama City Division (PCD). This role is pivotal in supporting workforce development initiatives, training programs, and strategic planning efforts to enhance employee growth and organizational effectiveness.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the PCD University (PCDU) Program Manager, Mentoring Program, and Workforce Development Director in assessing and implementing workforce development strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide guidance and technical assistance on systems including Waypoints, Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), and the Human Capital Center website via phone, email, and in-person.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist employees in updating transcripts and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor mandatory training compliance, report delinquent statuses, and generate system reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in NAVSEA HQ Waypoints Tag-Up meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and manage PCDU training events (virtual and in-person), including rosters, waitlists, and reporting within specified timeframes.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative and vendor representatives to provide class rosters and attendance data.</p> </li><li> <p>Support strategic planning, workforce shaping, data collection, and special projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct annual workforce development needs assessments using organizational inputs such as IDPs, business plans, and environmental trends.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide administrative support for Government-led training programs, including Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and PCDU.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage document control for New-Hire Onboarding processes and forms on HR SharePoint and Waypoints.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and maintain onboarding and supervisor training sessions, manage rosters, upload materials, and produce timely reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor supervisory training compliance and update relevant systems accordingly.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide technical and administrative support for audio-visual and communication needs during WFD courses.</p> </li><li> <p>Update training records in Waypoints and TWMS.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect and analyze course evaluations and survey data, reporting results to the WFD Program Manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend WFD Branch meetings as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and analyze the Employee No-Show spreadsheet to identify attendance trends.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct historical data entry for training attendance records up to seven years.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Security Clearance: Must have a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 Background Investigation for access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).</p> </li><li> <p>Education & Experience: Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Tableau, and familiarity with TWMS, Waypoints, and the Human Capital Center website.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear guidance and support across multiple platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines within tight timeframes.</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical Skills: Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.</p> </li><li> <p>Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including program managers, HR personnel, and external vendors.</p> </li><li> <p>Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail in managing records, reports, and training documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Prior experience in workforce development, training coordination, or HR support in a government or military environment is highly desirable.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job ID</p> <p>2025-20586</p> <p>Work Type</p> <p>On-Site</p> <p>Company Description</p> <p>Work Where it Matters</p> <p>Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, is not just another federal IT contractor.
