From Secure and Fast (SnF) transaction flows to Pay App Marketplaces, we build PCI-compliant services that power next-generation payments applications running in the cloud.</p> <p>Job Purpose & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Architect, design, and develop scalable and secure cloud-native payment applications, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Pay App in the Cloud</p> </li><li> <p>PCI-Compliant CDE (Cardholder Data Environment)</p> </li><li> <p>Payment Terminal Management System services including a Payment Marketplace and APIs</p> </li><li> <p>Own end-to-end feature development and maintenance of real-time transaction systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate closely with cloud engineers, device engineers, and security teams to ensure PCI-DSS compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop resilient, event-driven services using AWS and other serverless technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive CI/CD practices using Bitbucket Pipelines, automated tests, and integration of workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor system health using NewRelic, CloudWatch, and custom alerting dashboards.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, work collaboratively across time zones with offshore teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform technical reviews, document designs, and mentor junior engineers on cloud-native patterns and secure coding best practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Other reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience building and maintaining cloud software applications. </li><li>2+ years of AWS services and architecture for building secure and scalable cloud-based payment platforms. </li><li>Experience working in secure cloud environments and handling cardholder data or payment transactions. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field. </li><li>Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in computer science, software engineering or related technical field. </li><li>Expertise with AWS Cloud services. </li><li>Experience integrating with payment processors, third-party payment gateways, or Pay App marketplaces. </li><li>Familiarity with MQTT or IoT Core-based messaging for payment device communication. </li><li>Comfortable designing highly available, distributed systems with horizontal scaling and disaster recovery in mind. </li></ul> <p>Specific Professional Skills/Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Tools: Bitbucket, JIRA, CI/CD automation, and observability tools like NewRelic. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to work effectively across organizations. </li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, YAML, authentication, and encryption best practices. </li><li>Experience in Node.js, with solid backend skills in TypeScript, JavaScript. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to OSHA single person lift requirements. </li><li>Ability to sit, stand, bend, or walk for prolonged periods of time. </li><li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally. </li><li>Must be able to work a standard full-time schedule. </li><li>Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in the Milpitas, CA office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. </li></ul> <p>Elo Touch Solutions provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. Starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $137,600 - $184,200 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.</p>
