<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Intern to support our Legal team in managing and maintaining our contract repository within the Legisway contract management system. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in legal operations, contract lifecycle management, or corporate compliance.</p> <p>The person in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Upload and index contracts into the Legisway system, ensuring accurate metadata tagging and version control. </li><li>Assist with reviewing contract documents for completeness and consistency prior to upload. </li><li>Support the Legal team in organizing and maintaining the digital contract library. </li><li>Help identify and resolve discrepancies in contract records during the migration from legacy systems (e.g., LawVu). </li><li>Collaborate with legal operations and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and data integrity. </li><li>Generate reports and assist with tracking contract milestones, expirations, and obligations. </li><li>Participate in user testing and provide feedback on system usability and process improvements. </li></ul> <p>This internship will be 40 hours a week for one month, in person at the Scoular Omaha Headquarters.</p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Familiarity with contract terminology and document handling preferred. </li><li>Comfortable working with digital tools and document management systems. </li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. </li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Legisway or other contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms is a plus. </li><li>Exposure to legal operations or corporate legal departments. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel. </li></ul>
