<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Full Time Field Service Technician - Greater Providence Area, RI</p> <p>Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group has an opening for a Full Time Field Service Technician in the Greater Providence Area, RI area. You would begin your career with RDS as a Kiosk Technician training on key duplicating (Minute Key), tag engraving (Quick Tag) kiosks as well as 3rd party service (Eco-ATM, Pokémon).</p> <p>The territory consists of 60 kiosks and number of hours per week is around 40. This is an hourly position route with a pay ranging from $18-21 based on experience. Company Car will be provided along with cell-phone reimbursement and a corporate gas card for business miles.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>World Class Benefit plans include Health, Dental, Life-, Short- and Long-term disability insurance as well as a 401k plan! </li><li>Wellness Program </li><li>Employee Stock Purchase Plan </li><li>Vacation/Paid Time Off/Sick Days/Floating Holidays </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions*</p> <ul> <li>Re-stock and perform routine service on kiosks as needed (determined by demand at the machine, or schedule). </li><li>Perform on-call repairs or adjustments to the machine when the machine goes out of order. </li><li>New kiosk Installations or swap newer kiosks of machines in the local area. </li><li>Monitor machines in territory daily for issues and contact stores to resolve connectivity or power issues. </li><li>Keep track of inventory for re-stocking machines that are in Kiosk Tech's possession. </li><li>Grow revenue in territory by optimizing machine locations, uptime, product mix, store relationships, etc. </li><li>This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. </li></ul> <p>Employees are expected and encouraged to participate in safety and health program activities including immediately reporting hazards, immediately reporting unsafe work practices and incidents to supervisors, wearing required personal protective equipment, and participating in and supporting safety committee activities.</p> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Background in electromechanical repair and maintenance (preferred). </li><li>Prior experience in retail merchandising, field operations and customer service (preferred). </li><li>A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar profile (preferred). </li><li>Experience with tools and troubleshooting mechanical problems. </li><li>Ability to read, write and speak fluent English to include technical "jargon". </li></ul> <p>Competencies - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook </li><li>Ability to always represent Hillman professionally </li><li>Ability to work weekends when required </li></ul> <p>Operational Equipment</p> <ul> <li>Must have an excellent driving record with a valid driver's license. Clean driving record is mandatory. Major driving violations will eliminate potential candidates. </li><li>Must have reliable transportation with automobile insurance (mileage reimbursement) </li><li>Must have a reliable cell phone (reimbursed) </li></ul> <p>#RDS</p> <p>Work Environment and Physical Demands</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Sales/Service: Environment varies due to location/store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel required daily. May have to drive 200 miles daily. Hand/eye coordination required. Function vision and hearing required.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>Sales/Service: Medium, lifting up to 30 lbs., occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.</p>
