The ideal candidate will be based in the Chicagoland area, able to commute to Glenview, IL.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Reconcile monthly carrier payments in the commission system to ensure accurate and timely payment to agents </li><li>Processes weekly accounts payable vouchers and assists in the 1099 process </li><li>Reconcile bank accounts </li><li>Provide management with financial information, analyze accounts, and prepare quarterly financial statements for one subsidiary </li><li>Assists in other special projects as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1 year experience in Accounting or Finance </li><li>Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel </li><li>Knowledge of insurance preferred </li><li>Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills </li></ul> <p>About Us:</p> <p>Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company is an A rated insurance company and a longstanding leader in the life and accident & health (A&H) insurance.
