We are looking for a Solar Installation Technician to fill an opening immediately in the Indianapolis area.</p> <p>The qualified Install Technician will have Solar Installation background with 3+ years of relevant work experience.</p> <p>Your primary responsibility is to represent Bone Dry Solar with the highest degree of professionalism, punctuality, and integrity while providing our customers with respect, honesty, and the highest level of customer service.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Plan PV system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions </li><li>Measure, cut, and assemble the support structure for solar PV panels </li><li>Install solar modules, panels, and support structures according to building codes and standards </li><li>Connect PV panels to the electrical systems </li><li>Commission and test PV systems </li><li>Perform routine PV system maintenance </li><li>Tie in Electrical - Interconnection </li><li>Install Solar Battery systems </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Valid driver's license (non negotiable) </li><li>Pass a background check </li><li>3+ years of prior Solar Installation experience required </li><li>Ability to meet the physical demands of an outdoor job (carry and lift 50lbs). </li><li>Electrical licensing a plus </li><li>Military service a plus </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits</p> <ul> <li>$20 - $35 per hour commensurate with experience </li><li>Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance </li><li>Company paid Life Insurance </li><li>Company paid short-term disability </li><li>401(k) Plan </li><li>PTO, Vacation & Holidays </li><li>On-site gym with showers-free access </li><li>Company phone, truck and fuel provided for company use (this is not a take home vehicle) </li></ul> <p>Bone Dry Roofing is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
