<p>Piper Companies is seeking a Systems Analyst to support an award winning organization in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina area. The Systems Analyst role is hybrid requiring 3 days onsite in the office. The Systems Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and enhancing critical insurance systems, with a strong focus on SQL-driven solutions and policy administration platforms.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Systems Analyst:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical system specifications. </li><li>Support, enhance, and optimize insurance systems, with a focus on policy administration platforms. </li><li>Develop SQL queries, reports, and data extracts to support system analysis and operational needs. </li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and QA to ensure effective system functionality and performance. </li><li>Troubleshoot system issues and identify long-term process and technology improvements. </li><li>Lead or participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the Systems Analyst:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst. </li><li>Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries. </li><li>Prior experience in the insurance industry. </li><li>Preferred: Hands-on experience supporting or working with policy administration systems. </li></ul> <p>Compensation for the Systems Analyst includes:</p> <ul> <li>Salary range: $115,000 - $130,000 depending on experience </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO </li><li>Hybrid or remote work flexibility (based on client needs) </li></ul> <p>This job opens for applications on 02/16/2026.
