<p>MAU is hiring a QA Professional for our client in Columbia, SC. As a QA Professional, you will support quality assurance programs, fabrication projects, and documentation processes to ensure compliance with NQA-1 and customer requirements. This is a long-term renewable contract opportunity.</p> <p>Benefits Package</p> <ul> <li>Health </li><li>Dental </li><li>Vision </li></ul> <p>Shift Information</p> <ul> <li>Part-time, contract-based </li><li>Approximately 20-30 hours per week (flexible) </li><li>Initial duration: 3-6 months, with potential extension </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Fabrication or manufacturing experience </li><li>Experience with code-based work (ASME preferred) </li><li>Ability to work independently and integrate quickly into active projects </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>NQA-1 experience </li><li>DOE or nuclear-related project experience </li><li>Familiarity with ASME Section VIII </li><li>Welding program and data package experience </li></ul> <p>General Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to integrate quickly into a code-driven fabrication environment </li><li>Ability to provide immediate support under an NQA-1 program </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Develop and update procedures (QPs, GPs) </li><li>Align QA programs to NQA-1 and customer requirements </li><li>Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits </li><li>Support surveillance programs and trending activities </li><li>Support inspection processes and welding program compliance </li><li>Review inspection records and test reports </li><li>Standardize quality control practices across facilities </li><li>Provide guidance to inspectors and support issue resolution </li><li>Support submittals and data package development </li><li>Evaluate and coordinate NCRs </li><li>Interface with Project Management, Engineering, and customers </li><li>Ensure requirements are understood, flowed down, and met </li><li>Compile data packages </li><li>Review documentation for completeness and compliance </li><li>Coordinate certifications and inspection records </li><li>Support customer comment resolution and project closeout </li></ul>
