<p>CNC Machinist</p> <p>Flynn Group of Companies</p> <p>Salt Lake City, UT</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Flynn manufacturing fabricates and assembles commercial building envelope products for exterior walls or roofs such as: ACM/composite panels, metal trim, metal roofing panels, caps, copings, curtain wall glass, prefabricated unitized curtain wall, glass frames, and glass doors. Daily tasks in the shop consist of operating machinery, assembly, preparing shipments/orders for various different building envelope projects.</p> <p>We are a fast-growing department, looking to fill several openings. We offer hands-on training and are happy to train the right candidates to join our team!</p> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive wages </li><li>Health insurance (Partial employer paid premiums for employee and dependents) </li><li>Vacation & holiday pay </li><li>Vision & Dental insurance </li><li>Life Insurance </li><li>Gym membership access </li><li>Annual holiday celebration(s) </li><li>401k w/company match </li><li>PPE provided </li><li>Opportunities for career advancement </li></ul> <p>Daily Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operate or program the computer on CNC machinery to create multiple bends on sheet metal, ACM panels, aluminum extrusions, glazing/glass framing materials. </li><li>Types of machinery used in our shop: Trumatic 5000- TRUMPF, CNC shearing machines, CNC Punching machines, Hydrulic Press Brakes, Aluranger, CNC Routers, RhinoFab machines, saws, grinders, power tools. </li><li>Follow safety requirements and maintain certifications. </li><li>Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance. </li><li>Perform maintenance and troubleshoot when needed </li><li>Follow safety procedures and processes </li><li>Preparing material shipments/orders </li><li>Assist in other departments and cross-train as needed </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>1+ years experience operating 5-axis CNC Routing machinery. </li><li>Previous experience with various hand and power tools- drills, saws, grinders, etc. </li><li>Can accurately interpret shop drawings/blue-prints </li><li>Can stand 8-10 hours per day and move heavy material </li><li>Flexible schedule- can work overtime and weekends if needed </li><li>Can pass a background check and drug screening </li><li>Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience with any of the following machinery is ideal: Trumatic 5000- TRUMPF, CNC shearing machines, CNC Punching machines, Hydraulic Press Brakes, Aluranger, EMMEGI 12-axis machine, CNC Routers, RhinoFab machines. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>$23-27+ Depending on experience</p> <p>9/12/2025</p> <p>#LN-JN1</p> <p>Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building's outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
