<p>Position Overview</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Electromechanical Field Support Engineer to provide technical support and project leadership for high-speed printing and imaging systems. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, hands-on experience with complex electromechanical systems, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, global team environment.</p> <p>This is a key position for those who enjoy working at the intersection of technology, data, and customer engagement. You will play a significant role in field support, lab operations, and product improvement initiatives, while contributing to business-critical projects.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop engineering plans to meet product or process requirements under broad objectives. </li><li>Lead or contribute to moderately complex technical projects involving design, analysis, and testing. </li><li>Solve technical problems and propose innovative designs for electromechanical systems. </li><li>Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for lab activities, including testing, data collection, and troubleshooting. </li><li>Serve as a liaison with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues. </li><li>Coordinate and mentor junior engineers, technicians, or lab staff, as appropriate. </li><li>Document work thoroughly and communicate progress, results, and technical challenges. </li><li>Ensure timely completion of technical objectives within budget and quality guidelines. </li><li>Apply professional judgment in managing engineering tools, processes, and priorities. </li><li>Participate in or lead activities focused on improving procedures, systems, and technologies. </li><li>Support field deployments, installations, and customer escalations as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). </li><li>10+ years of engineering experience, preferably in electromechanical systems or printing/imaging technologies. </li><li>Proven success in leading lab-based and/or field-based engineering initiatives. </li><li>Familiarity with high-speed digital printing systems is a strong plus. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of engineering principles, tools, and processes. </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems. </li><li>Experience working with cross-functional, international teams. </li><li>Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Clear and effective written and verbal communication. </li><li>Ability to coach and coordinate technical teams. </li><li>Capable of independently managing tasks and adapting to changing priorities. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership in engineering projects or lab operations. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions & Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Regular travel required (25%+), including international assignments. </li><li>Ability to work in lab and customer site environments, adhering to safety and compliance standards. </li><li>Must be able to handle multiple tasks, adjust to new tools and systems, and meet deadlines under pressure. </li><li>Expected to demonstrate ownership of assignments, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and remain adaptable to evolving work environments. </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description outlines key responsibilities and expectations for the role but is not an exhaustive list of duties.</p>
