In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and deploying smart contracts for our blockchain projects, ensuring the secure, efficient, and innovative application of decentralized technology.</p> <p>Your Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts. </li><li>Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate smart contracts with web applications. </li><li>Rigorously review code to uphold standards of quality and functional robustness. </li><li>Maintain and improve existing smart contracts based on evolving needs. </li><li>Stay ahead of the curve by updating knowledge on cryptographic and blockchain advancements, ensuring potential security threats are preempted and neutralized. </li><li>Work closely with product managers and partners to crystallize technical needs and system architecture. </li><li>Offer your blockchain and smart contract expertise to a diverse team audience, catering to both technical and non-technical members. </li><li>Stay updated with the latest developments in the Blockchain ecosystem and adapt solutions accordingly. </li><li>Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately </li></ul> <p>NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of related experience </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field. </li></ul> <p>Talents Needed for Success:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience with Solidity. </li><li>Strong understanding of blockchain security practices and potential vulnerabilities. </li><li>Proficiency in using tools like Truffle, Hardhat, Foundry, and Remix </li><li>Experience with Solidity security testing tools like Slither, Mythril, Echidna </li><li>Practical experience with scripting languages like Javascript or Typescript </li><li>Ability to craft unit and integration tests ensuring code longevity. </li><li>Familiarity with GitHub and Jira. </li><li>Experience translating requirements into concrete work. </li><li>Demonstrated ability for the best development practices, data structures, algorithms, and methodologies. </li><li>Passion for encouraging a world class organizational culture and a dedication to continuous learning. </li><li>Excellent debugging and fixing skills. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. </li><li>Self-starter and complete projects with minimal direction </li></ul> <p>Bonus Experience</p> <ul> <li>Development background in sectors such as banking, finance, or trading, paired with a comprehensive grasp of financial instruments and systems. </li><li>Experience working with financial infrastructure around collateral, lending, and balance sheet management. </li><li>Familiarity with Rust. </li><li>Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field. </li><li>Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, notably Docker and Kubernetes. </li><li>Experience working with Azure, AWS, and other cloud frameworks. </li><li>Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and associated platforms </li><li>Experience with Hyperledger. </li><li>Prior engagement with DeFi platforms, including but not limited to Aave, Uniswap, and MakerDAO. </li><li>Exposure to Layer2 protocols, off-chain computations, and oracles. </li><li>Experience with The Graph and subgraph development </li><li>Contributions to the open-source blockchain ecosystem. </li><li>Certifications in blockchain or Ethereum development. </li></ul> <p>The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
