<p>Kforce's client, a National Management firm that has been in business for over 50 years, is expanding and looking for a Tax Supervisor with expertise in Sales and Use. This candidate must be located in the Tri-State Area. This role offers a hybrid work environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Sales Tax Compliance: Ensure proper sales tax collection, reporting, and remittance across 325+ clients using various point-of-sale (POS) systems </li><li>Audit & Risk Mitigation: Identify and correct outdated tax rates, maintain compliance, and prepare for audits </li><li>Regulatory Research: Investigate tax liabilities, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with state and local business license filings </li><li>Process Improvement: Develop a database of jurisdictional tax requirements and standardize tax data across systems, including NetSuite </li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the legal department and business unit controller to support tax-related filings and compliance efforts </li><li>Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex tax situations, implement solutions, and support compliance initiatives* College degree required, CPA strongly preferred </li><li>4 plus years of Tax Accounting experience </li><li>Public/Private experience preferred </li><li>Multi State/Multi Entity Sales and Use experience required </li></ul>
