Join us.</p> <p>As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms of Consumer and Community Banking, you will be an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality Infrastructure and Production Management architecture solutions. This role will support the overall expectation that infrastructure and application architectures meet the firm's reliability, availability, scalability, and operational standards. As a core technical contributor, you will support the enhancement and development of architecture platforms based on modern cloud-based technologies and/or leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence, while supporting the adoption of strategic global solutions.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs </li><li>Conducts architecture and operational reviews focused on resiliency and scale </li><li>Evaluates recommendations and provides feedback on new technologies </li><li>Executes creative infrastructure solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Translates enterprise architecture concepts into practical, actionable standards. </li><li>Partners across Architecture, Engineering, DevRel, and SRE functions </li><li>Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies </li><li>Participates in architecture governance bodies </li><li>Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others </li><li>Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of infrastructure appl applications and systems </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience </li><li>Strong knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) </li><li>Familiarity with Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and incident response </li><li>Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines </li><li>Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture </li><li>Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods </li><li>Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle </li><li>Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native patterns, and service reliability </li><li>Expertise in one or more programming language(s) </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work horizontally across business units and technical teams </li><li>Effective communication, facilitation, and documentation skills </li></ul>
