<p>Title: In-Home Services Program Specialist</p> <p>Location: Twin Cities Metro Area</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday with availability between the hours of 8:00AM and 8:00PM based on the needs of those we serve. Occasional weekend scheduling possible based on the needs of the Program.</p> <p>Wage: $20.00/hour including Full-Time benefits</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Support individuals with daily activities to achieve personalized outcomes in residential group homes. </li><li>Focus on increasing independence in skills, such as learning about community resources, finding hobbies, and working on personal cares, meal preparation, planning, or budgeting. </li><li>Administer medications and assist with daily personal care needs. </li><li>Perform cooking, cleaning, and other housekeeping duties as needed. </li><li>Assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and support them in their daily routines. </li><li>Work with individuals displaying challenging behaviors, including verbal and physical aggression. </li><li>Adapt to each person's unique needs and preferences, tailoring services accordingly. </li><li>Provide support in areas of communication, personal hygiene, and basic living skills. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>21 years of age or older </li><li>Proficient in spoken and written English language </li><li>Comfortable providing personal cares (including but not limited to: bathroom supports, bathing/showering, medication administration) </li><li>Successful clearance of Department of Human Services background check </li><li>Successful clearance of Motor Vehicle Background Check and acceptable driving record per Company Policy </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>At least 2 years supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mental health diagnosis </li><li>At least 2 years working with individuals with verbal and physical aggressions </li><li>Experience implementing Emergency Use of Manuel Restraints (applicable at select programs) </li></ul>
