<p>Title I Part-Time Tutor (Up to 24 Hours per Week) - Position Description</p> <p>Position: Title I Part-Time Tutor</p> <p>Location: Pinnacle Elementary School</p> <p>Reports To: Principal / Title I Coordinator</p> <p>Work Schedule: Up to 24 hours per week</p> <p>Benefits: No benefits included (part-time position)</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Title I Tutor provides supplemental academic support to students in reading and/or math in order to help them meet grade-level expectations. This position focuses on small-group and individual intervention, following research-based strategies aligned with our school's Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Title I goals. The tutor works closely with classroom teachers and the instructional team to ensure targeted, data-driven instruction.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide small-group and/or one-on-one instruction in reading and/or math for identified students.</p> </li><li> <p>Support student learning by using evidence-based intervention programs, materials, and strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with classroom teachers to review data, identify student needs, and plan appropriate interventions.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor student progress regularly and maintain accurate documentation as required by Title I guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Support a positive, structured learning environment that promotes student engagement and confidence.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate professionally with staff and administration regarding student progress and instructional needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend required training sessions related to Title I, intervention programs, or school procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold all district policies and maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of Associate's Degree, 48 semester hours, or completion of required paraprofessional assessment (per Title I requirements).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of effective instructional strategies for struggling learners.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and collaboration skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to follow instructional plans and implement interventions with fidelity.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Expectations</p> <ul> <li> <p>Up to 24 hours per week, scheduled based on school needs and student services.</p> </li><li> <p>Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.</p> </li><li> <p>This position is grant-funded and tied to annual Title I allocations.</p> </li></ul>
