<p>Description</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Ralls ISD is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Reading Language Arts (RLA) Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in reading and language arts to secondary students. This individual should be committed to fostering a positive learning environment that supports student growth and achievement.</p> <p>Teaching Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in Reading Language Arts. </li><li>Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning. </li><li>Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success. </li><li>Maintain accurate records and adhere to school policies and curriculum standards. </li><li>Implement effective classroom management strategies. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Valid Texas Teaching Certification or enrolled in an Alternative Certification course. </li><li>Experience teaching at the secondary level (preferred). </li><li>Strong knowledge of literacy instruction and curriculum standards. </li><li>Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>Salary & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary based on experience and district pay scale. </li><li>$225 towards health insurance. </li><li>Matching 2% annuity. </li></ul> <p>Application Process:</p> <p>Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, teaching certification, and references to Oscar Muniz at omuniz@rallsisd.org.</p>
