<p>Summary:</p> <p>This role will manage and improve the safety, quality, and productivity performance, cost effectiveness, on-time delivery and employee involvement through the effective direction of staff management. Overall responsibility for various production operations, on various shifts.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Drives safety throughout the organization. </li><li>Monitors production processes to meet division productions goals (throughput, scrap/damage, productivity, downtime), sales and operations commitments/performance. </li><li>Drives continuous improvement. </li><li>Supports capital expenditure improvements. </li><li>Supports and drives quality improvement. Ability to drive to true root cause. Responsible for effective and timely completion of corrective actions. Supports regulatory compliance and related audits. </li><li>Manages employee performance and development, including annual performance feedback and compensation cycles. </li><li>Hires capable manufacturing employees for staffing levels needed to drive cost effectiveness through operation. Reinforces appropriate procedures, policies, work rules. </li><li>Manages production inventory for accuracy and to drive improvements. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree </li><li>6+ years manufacturing with leadership experience in manufacturing </li><li>Experience driving and implementing processes </li></ul>
