<ul> <li>Schedule operator assignments each day in accordance with shipping schedules. </li><li>Ensure that operators are trained and have all the raw materials, tools, and equipment necessary to produce quality parts. </li><li>Examine parts produced to determine if items meet specifications. </li><li>Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations. </li><li>Interpret customer specifications to ensure product produced meets those specifications. </li><li>Responsible for conforming to customer product requirements and has the authority to stop shipment and production to correct quality problems. </li><li>Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. </li><li>Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment for safety and the general well-being of the employees. </li><li>May be required to complete or verify paperwork and/or data related to the performance of production employees, employee time worked, scrap, quality, or other assigned reports. </li><li>Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems. </li><li>Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
