We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team in the Metro West area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a wide range of vendor provided soft services to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.</p> <p>Work Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM</p> <p>Travel Requirements: travel required between Franklin & Hopkinton as needed (travel will be reimbursed)</p> <p>Reporting To: Facilities Manager</p> <p>Role Purpose:</p> <p>Reporting to the Facilities Manager and working as part of the overall Facilities Team, the Assistant Facilities Manager will manage a range of soft services and provide the necessary support to ensure the efficient and effective running of the client portfolio.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Manage soft services, including:</p> <ul> <li>Landscape maintenance </li><li>Snow management </li><li>Janitorial services </li><li>Event planning </li><li>Roads and grounds maintenance </li><li>Oversee and coordinate with vendors within the above scope of work </li><li>Manage and negotiate service contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality </li><li>Work closely with employees and vendors to implement and maintain an efficient work order management system </li><li>Participate in budget planning and cost control for facilities-related expenses </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies </li><li>Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs </li><li>Collaborate with other departments to support overall facility operations </li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs </li><li>Respond to emergency situations and coordinate necessary repairs </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent OR successful completion of a 4+ year degree can be considered equivalent to work experience </li><li>Three (3)+ years of proven work experience as an assistant facilities manager or coordinator in the commercial real estate management industry as a third-party provider, corporate, or as a consultant </li><li>Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) </li><li>Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Computer proficiency experience with Microsoft Office Suite </li></ul> <p>Experience with budget planning and cost control</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards </li></ul> <p>Preferred experience and skills:</p> <ul> <li>Military service or higher education in a related field such as business, hospitality, facility/property management is desirable </li><li>Corrigo CMMS exposure is desirable </li></ul> <p>We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth.
